Forza Motorsport 3, 4 and Horizon
I had the honor of being a vehicle artist on Microsoft Game Studio's Forza 3, Forza 4 and Forza Horizon.
We built the cars from low resolution scanned data, utilizing a Faro Arm and point dropping sofware to lay out a basemesh from which to start from.
Detail modeling was done from photoshoots and camera matching to ensure the utmost in accuracy. I was responsible for modeling and texturing full cars, their accompanying LOD's, racekit additions, damage deformers and textures and various components of cars that were currently in the pipeline.
I also took on creating the UV setup to ensure the in-game livery editor worked properly, so users could paint their own designs on the exteriors.
